The Purbeck Mineral and Mining Museum
The Purbeck Mineral and Mining Museum (PMMM) is dedicated to the history of Purbeck Ball Clay mining, the industrial heritage of Purbeck and the Purbeck narrow gauge railways.
The Museum is open from the end of March to the end of September on Sundays and Bank Holidays.
Opening hours 11am-5pm (last entry 4.30pm).
Entry is Free, but we rely on your donations. Please Gift Aid your donation if you can.
The Museum will reopen for the Easter weekend (25th – 28th March) .
Our volunteers meet through out the year to carry out a range of tasks, working on the buildings, developing more things to see and do, and working on our collections. If you would like to join us, please get in touch.
