Purbeck Mineral & Mining Museum
The Purbeck Mineral and Mining Museum (PMMM) is dedicated to the history of Purbeck Ball Clay mining, the industrial heritage of Purbeck and the Purbeck narrow gauge railways.
Unfortunately, our Ruston diesel loco will not be running this weekend. Please can we apologise for any inconvenience caused. We’ll keep you updated here on future running days.
2019 Opening times:
11am to 5pm (last entry 4:30pm)
April – Weekends, plus Good Friday & Easter Monday
May to September – Tuesday to Thursday, weekends & Bank Holidays
October – Weekends
We’re also open for Swanage Railway’s Autumn Steam Gala from Friday 11th to Sunday 13th October.
The Museum will close for winter on Sunday 27th October 2019.
